Dutch to participate in France International Baseball Tournament together with Germany, France and international stars team

2016 Dates set for France International Baseball Tournament Yoshida Challenge As defending champion, the Dutch team was already invited for the France International Baseball Tournament, that will be played in Sénart, home of the Templiers.

Two years ago, the Dutch won the invitational by beating France in the final.

Next to Kingdom of the Netherlands and France, the other two participants are Germany and a team of international stars (players from various European competitions).

For France, Germany and the Kingdom of the Netherlands the tournament will be the final preparation for the upcoming European Cup in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, later this year. The Dutch team will start the FIBT against team Germany on Thursday, September 1, in the afternoon. On Friday September 2, the Dutch will take on the international stars. On Saturday, the Dutch will face France in the night cap .

Two years ago, the French seemed to be a tough hurdle to take for the Dutch as the lost to them 12-8 in the first game. In the final the Dutch got their revenge.

On Sunday September 4, the number one in the standings will face the runner up in the championship game.
