A few weeks ago you could read a blog post about the Dutch Tigers and their trip to Arizona to participate in the MSBL/MABL World Series.
The MSBL/MABL World Series is an annual tournament but because the players have to pay for their own trip, the Dutch Tigers are going every other year, to keep things affordable. Many ex professional players participate in this tournament. Last year (2015) Roger Clemens even participated.
As mentioned, players have to pay for their own trip if they want to participate in this tournament. But not only the trip itself does cost money. The organizers also have to buy equipment like bats, batting helmets and catcher’s gear.
To be able to buy the needed equipment, the Dutch Tigers are looking for sponsors. To attract as many sponsors as possible, the organizers have created a club of 50. Sponsors can chip in €50 and for that amount your name or the name of your company will be placed on the website of the Dutch Tigers with a link to your website. As a little extra, you will receive the unique Dutch Tigers pin.
Next to buying equipment, the money will be used to reduce the costs for the participating players.
If you want an example of how it looks like to see your (company) name on the website of the Dutch Tigers, click on this link.
If you are curious how the pin looks like…
So if you are baseball minded and think that this bi-annual initiative deserves some support, please click on the link of the Dutch Tigers website and donate €50. Your company name will be shown with a link to your website included. AND you will receive the unique Dutch Tigers pin, a real collectors item. A cheaper way of advertisement is not possible.
Your help is appreciated.
