Sod Poodles “unveil” home jersey

In a Tweet, Chris Creamer of showed a big part of the new Amarillo Sod Poodles jersey. Unlike the name, the jersey isn’t that outrageous. In fact, it is on the sober side.

Naturally, the home jersey is white. It sports the name Sod Poodles on the front in a blue font with a white outline. Just look how they have managed to get the white outline on the white jersey.
The jersey also sports a navy-ish piping that runs along the button holes up to and around the neck and down again. The same kind of piping can be found at the bottom of the sleeves.

On the left sleeve there is a round patch with the club’s logo and the words Amarillo Sod Poodles. The words Amarillo and Sod Poodles are separated from each other by two blades of prairie grass.

The Amarillo ballclub recently announced its new name after it moved from San Antonio as the Padres’ AA franchise in the Texas League. The Colorado SkySox (AAA team of the Milwaukee Brewers in the Pacific Coast League) will take the place of the AA team but will adopt the San Antonio Missions moniker. This is all possible because the two teams are part of the Elmore Sports Group.
