2019 final season of Globe Life Park in Arlington

With a special logo, the Texas Rangers herald the final season of Globe Life Park in Arlington, the ballpark that was their home since 1994.

According to Ballparkbiz.wordpress.com, the logo show on the picture below is slightly different than the logo the Rangers wear on their uniform. The actual logo mentions the name Globe Life Park on the banner, while the logo on the left sleeve of the uni says “Final Season.”  MLB rules do not allow to show corporate names on jerseys or caps.

The patch will not be worn on their grey or blue jerseys, nor will it be worn on any of the team’s caps.

The patch shows the brick facade of Globe Life Park’s main entrance, a red banner below with the words “final season”, two pennants with the opening and closing dates of the ballpark flying above. All this is shown on top of a background of a blue diamond.

Globe Life Park in Arlington saw life as The Ballpark at Arlington in 1994 as one of the many Camden Yard clones that popped up after the Orioles opened their ballpark, even though the ballpark was not designed by HOK, now named Populous.

Playing at Globe Life Stadium, the Texas Rangers celebrated several successes as they won American League West division titles in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2016. They also clinch a Wild Card berth in 2012. In 2010 and 2011 the club made it to the World Series after clinching the AL pennant.
